Role of MRI/PET in the Treatment of Cervical Cancer
Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Positron Emission Tomography have their marked roles in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of tumors and cancer; concerning the treatment of cervical cancer, this study aims to focus on the role of MRI and PET in the treatment of cervical cancer.
This study evaluates the role of PET/MRI in treating cervical cancer by analyzing the literature on the role of PET/MRI regarding cervical cancer from 1988 to recent years. It has also highlighted the effect of PET in the prognosis of cervical cancer by investigating the studies conducted on different groups of patients with cervical cancer.
Results have manifested the combined advantage of PET and MRI in planning the treatment process for cervical cancer. PET has been found to investigate the invasiveness of cervical cancer, and MRI has been found to enhance PET’s role by estimating the boundaries of cervical cancer and its tissue contrast uniqueness; it helps assess the spread of cervical cancer towards other body organs. Once the diagnosis is done and lymph node is detected in the cervix, Physicians achieve their guide towards the treatment and follow-up plan of cervical cancer’s patients.
In this modern era, cervical cancer’s treatment is immensely planned using MRI/PET technique. This study has covered the vast use of PET/MRI in detecting different stages of cervical cancer and has evaluated cervical cancer treatment. This study has concluded that PET/MRI's innovation has a profound impact on cervical cancer treatment.

Use of ultrasound techniques in the early detection of fetal abnormalities
The ultrasound techniques being used for early-stage detection of fetal anomalies are considered an achievement in imaging technology. However, the ultrasound techniques are not adopted in many developing countries, and therefore the vast majority of pregnant women cannot have their timely diagnosis. The ultrasonography method is a screening process to extract fetal imaging used in the recent era to detect fetal anomalies. The first-trimester scan is being offered in the developed countries as part of the standard care of a pregnant woman. The three-dimensional ultrasound uses were considered in the research to be VR assessment to facilitate real depth perception and exclusive interaction. The use of the ultrasound method to extract images related to fetal anomalies is improved quality of life for pregnant women, the technique's cost-effectiveness, and the point of view about patient and ultrasonography on the 3D VR modality. The parameters and standards to detect fetal weight, growth, gestation, and possible detection of abnormality were used. In the current research, the literature review method to review the previous research was adopted to highlight the significant uses of ultrasound techniques in the first trimester period of pregnancy to detect any fetal anomalies. The current study aimed to identify the ultrasound techniques to see any fetal abnormalities at the early pregnancy stages.
